Quebec gemstones
Interest in gemstones from Quebec is very recent. First extracted sporadically by prospectors or mineral collectors who used artisanal mining methods, they only recently appeared on the jewelry market.
Despite the fact that the geological contexts favorable to the formation of gemstones are rare in Quebec, Mr. André Gagnon, lapidary of Quebec, undertook in 1994 research in the mining archives, collections of minerals and available geological reports.
Following the discovery of several sites of interest, he organized numerous expeditions aimed at extracting the minerals which seemed the most promising for stone cutting and subsequently offering them to jewelry craftsmen.

Amazonite, this pretty stone that comes from Lac St-Jean, is part of the Feldspath family. Its turquoise color and shimmering make it a unique stone. For safety reasons, the excavation site was recently leveled.

Returns are quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
- Send an email to our team in the "CONTACT US" section of this website. Please provide the order number in the email message. A member of our team will send you an email with the shipping note, which will include the return authorization number. NOTE: You cannot make a return without completing this step.
- Return the unused/undamaged item(s) in the original packaging with all parts and accessories to ensure a credit to your account.
- Go to a Canada Post office with your packing slip and insert it into the self-adhesive envelope provided. Be sure to remove all irrelevant labels from the outside of the box.
