Joysleigh

Joysleigh was born out of a winter clothing design idea. Their creations had to be soft as falling snow and carefully crafted in Canada from the best materials in the world. Clothing also had to be made for the winter with an abundance of warmth. These were their desires when they set out to create the clothes that would carry us through the winter days.

Wool is not only comfortable in winter, but also helps regulate our temperature and humidity throughout the year. It provides excellent temperature thermoregulation in both hot and cold seasons thanks to its particular properties. In fact, wool fibers allow the textile to "breathe" through their hydrophilic structure which absorbs water and their hydrophobic surface which repels it. So when it's hot, the fibers absorb moisture vapors from your body and evaporate them outside the fabric, keeping you cool. When it's cold, these moisture vapors instead condense inside the fiber, releasing heat and keeping you warm.
